IOMC’s 96^th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on Wednesday, June 8^th, kicked off @ 4:30p with Dr. Shahram Hashmat’s presentation, “Behavioral Economics of Dieting.”  A number of attendees expressed laudatory comments on his blending of psychology and economics and ensuing insight.  Dr. Hashmat’s passion is to make economic education relevant and interdisciplinary to reach a broader audience.

 The Awards Dinner followed the Forum with a number of individuals honored for their contributions to medicine and public health.  Refer to Awards pages for a bio on recipients.
