As many of you know, food stamps are gone due to government shutdown. Here are some resources that hit an Instagram feed in the last couple of days. IOMC does not provide direct food resources; however, able to direct you to food supplies through other organizations.

Please share with others that may need food supplies during this government shutdown.

For Chicago- immediate help- Greater Chicago Food Depository. There are several regional distribution centers that can help quickly.

Free period supplies: https://lnkd.in/gQ5xbqBh
Go to the website to find resources in your area.

Other resources for Washington and Oregon people:
Washington: Go in person directly to DSHS when the government reopens (https://www.dshs.wa.gov/). Use the website to find the nearest one. When you go in person, you can meet directly with someone who can help provide assistance and more likely to get approved for resources. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE FIRST.

Oregon: Go in person to DHS when the government reopens (https://lnkd.in/gduSB46t). DO NOT APPLY ONLINE FIRST. Applying with an actual human can make a bigger difference than anyone would expect. Use the website to find a location to go in person to.
